Smooth Operation Your engine operation should be as calm as your surroundings. That's why Honda's high power outboards integrate an inverted flywheel at the base of the powerhead. This lowers the centre of gravity to greatly reduce vibration and provide smooth handling. The two cylinder engines incorporate Honda's exclusive Pendulum-Motion mount system, which absorbs engine vibrations without using a balancer shaft - an innovative solution to reduce the weight of small outboard engines. |
| Low fuel consumption 4-stroke technology ensures low fuel consumption without compromising maximum performance. It offers much higher fuel efficiency than 2-strokes - throughout the rpm range. By comparison, Honda 4-stroke engines comsume about 50% less fuel than conventional 2-strokes and at the same time eliminate harmful exhaust emissions. |

| Anti-corrosion protection There's much more than simply great cosmetic appearance behind that metallic silver finish. Each Honda engine undergoes a vigorous 4-stage coating for protection against harsh conditions, like ultraviolet rays and extensive saltwater exposure. First, the double base, followed by the epoxy primer undercoat, the acrylic silver metallic paint and finally the acrylic resin clear undercoat.
