Auto Start Enrichment: On electric start models, automatically adjusts the air fuel mixture for quick, easy starting and warm up operation.
Easy One Hand Starting: Working together a built-in decompression release and digital CDI system, which sets the ignition timing during start up. Greatly reduces the effort required to pull start the engine by hand!
PGM-IG - Programmed Ignition: Programmed ignition system accurately controls ignition timing, enabling enhanced running performance across the entire rev range.
High Output Charging: 6 amps (manual start) & 12 amps (electric start). Provide enough power to keep all your electronics performing while trolling.
Pendulum Mount System: Honda's exclusive triangulated, rubber-mount system absorbs vibration and provides smooth operation.
Engine Alert System: The integrated warning system protects the engine from severe damage due to low oil, over-revving and over heat situations.
Fresh Water Flushport: Allows easy freshwater flushing of the engine, extending the life of the outboard.
Longer Tiller Handle: The BF10 have convenient longer tiller handles for increased control and reduced steering effort.
Forward Mounted Shift Lever: The convenient forward mount shift lever allows fingertip shifting. Twist grip throttle and tensioner allows for superior throttle friction control minimizing driver fatigue.
Environmental Performance: Ultra low emission
 The BF10 achieves outstanding clean exhaust performance that exceeds both the U.S EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) 2006 and CARB (California Air Resources Board) emissions regulations for 2008 -the most stringent emissions standards in the world.
Shallow Water Drive: Greatly reduces the risk of engine damage while navigating in shallow water.
Integrated Carry Handle: A convenient, foldaway carry handle situated at the exact top/bottom balance point of the engine. This enables easy transportation in a level position
