New for 2004 is the revolutionary Honda BF150 outboard motor. This powerful new engine is setting the standard in technological innovations. Featuring Honda exclusive technologies such as VTEC, Variable Air Intake Port System, Lean Burn operation and 3-way cooling system, superb performance, fuel efficiency and reliability are assured.

Unmatched in the industry the BF150 includes cutting edge advantages that leave this engine in a league of its own. Advantages include easy adjust Dual Overhead Cams - the powerful, compact 2.4 litre, DOHC, design creates more valve lift to pull in more air for increased horsepower. Also included is the Lean Burn Feedback control to give you maximum efficiency at every speed and the Dual Stage Induction system which allows it to pull in more air and deliver top performance at low and high speeds. The new 3-Way Cooling System keeps the cylinder head cooler for long term durability.

Outstanding Reliability:
The belt-driven High Output " On Demand" 40 Amp Charging System will make sure the batteries stay charged. The Programmed Electronic Fuel Injection delivers the precise amount of fuel/air to each cylinder, resulting in instant throttle response with superior fuel efficiency.

Dual Overhead Cam Technology:	Low maintenance design allows easy adjustment of the rocker arms. No multiple shims or trial and error adjusting. DOHC creates more valve lift to pull in more air for increased horsepower.

Lean Burn Feedback:	Adjusts the air-fuel mix according to speed and load.

"On Demand" 40 Amp Alternator:	This unique alternator uses less crankshaft horsepower, reduces heat build-up, and provides superior battery charging capability, producing a maximum of 40 amps
Environmental Performance:	The BF150 achieves outstanding clean exhaust performance that exceeds both the U.S EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) 2006 and CARB (California Air Resources Board) emissions regulations for 2008 -the most stringent emissions standards in the world.
Standard Fresh Water Flushing Port:	Allows easy fresh water flushing of the engine to extend the life of the outboard.
