The introduction of the new BF25 further enhances Honda's range of mid size 4-stroke outboards and brings the latest engine technology within easy reach of small boat owners.

Ease of use and kindness to the human component - the person steering the boat! - are the major considerations with this exciting new range.

Firstly the tiller handle has been extended to allow for much lighter steering. In addition the indicator lamp, throttle control, power trim & tilt switch and gear shift lever are all now located on the tiller handle which allows for easier operation due to the ergonomic positioning of the controls. Power trim & tilt, gas assist tilt and increased engine capacity have also been introduced for the new BF25.

Other upgrades include engine performance with the fitment of digital CDI, providing better throttle response and more powerful acceleration and the auto starting enrichment system, which provides operators with easy starting and increased stability while running at idle speed.		 25hp Honda

Four Stroke Engine Design World-renowned Honda quality combines proven reliability and superior fuel efficiency, with no oil/fuel mixing.
Lightweight Compact Design: The BF25's three-cylinder design is compact and delivers smooth operation.
Available in 2 Shaft Lengths: Standard short and long shaft lengths allow for a wider range of boat applications.
Multi-Functional Tiller Handle: The introduction of the multi-functional tiller handle on the new BF25 further enhances user comfortable comfort levels.
The upgrades include: Extended and centurally mounted tiller handle for much lighter steering and the addition of the indicator lamp, throttle control, power trim & tilt switch and gear shift lever all located in ergonomic positioning on the tiller handle.
Power Trim & Tilt: Available on the LHTD model. This feature allows the user to trim the unit for maximum performance and handling.
Gas Assist Tilt: Available on the SHGD and LHGD models. This feature allows the user to tilt the engine with greater ease.
Engine Alert System: The integrated warning system protects the engine from severe damage due to low oil, over-revving and over heat situations.
Fresh Water Flush Port: Allows easy fresh water flushing of the engine to clear debris and salt water extending the life of the outboard.
High Output Charging: 10 amps on electric start models provide enough power to keep all your electronics performing while trolling.
Emergency Stop Switch/Safety Lanyard: This standard safety feature allows the operator to clip the lanyard to the wrist and stop the engine if the operator leaves the helm.
Shallow Water Drive: Greatly reduces the risk of engine damage while navigating in shallow waters.
Environmental Performance: Ultra low emission
 The BF20 achieves outstanding clean exhaust performance that exceeds both the U.S EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) 2006 and CARB (California Air Resources Board) emissions regulations for 2008 -the most stringent emissions standards in the world.
Sacrificial Anodes: One internal and two external sacrificial anodes protect metal components from corrosion.
Corrosion Protection:
Corrosion 		Honda uses a unique multi-layer finish to ensure the highest possible level of corrosion resistance on all models.
