Honda BF40
Mid-sized and packed full of power, the Honda BF40 is well proven in both the commercial and recreational fishing industries.

The lightness of this engine masks surprising torque and power. Three cylinders in line, overhead camshaft, a cross-flow air intake and hemispherical combustion chambers achieve outstanding, high-speed performance. Three, vertically mounted carburettors are fitted with an acceleration/ deceleration pump which precisely regulates fuel during sudden increases and decreases in speed resulting in smoother safer cruising.

Honda engines are built to last for years of trouble-free running. The BF40 is fitted with electric starters and an electronic CDI ignition system for instant and reliable starting in hot or cold weather.

By their very nature, 4-stroke engines are quiet, but we've made things even quieter. A high capacity intake silencer substantially reduces intake noise while a resin cylinder head cover takes care of high frequency noise. 		40hp Honda

Emergency Stop Switch/Safety Lanyard: This standard safety feature allows the operator to clip the lanyard to the wrist and stop the engine if the operator leaves the helm.
Built-in Pilot Tube: Built in pilot tube in the gear case eliminates the need to drill holes in your boat for installation.
Standard Gauges: Tachometer and trim gauges are included with power trim models.
Shallow Water Drive: Greatly reduces the risk of engine damage while navigating in shallow waters.
Sacrificial Anodes: One internal and two external sacrificial anodes protect metal components from corrosion.
Corrosion Protection:
Corrosion 		Honda uses a unique multi-layer finish to ensure the highest possible level of corrosion resistance on all models.
