Honda BF50
Big on stamina and torque, the BF50 minimise vibration and fuel consumption without sacrificing the reliable, responsive power you’ve come to expect from Honda Outboards.

This high torque three cylinder engine feature incredibly smooth and quiet performance with up to 94% less hydrocarbon emissions than conventional 2-strokes of similar horsepower.

A high capacity intake silencer substantially reduces intake noise while a resin cylinder head cover takes care of high frequency noise. While a unique design which positions the crankshaft and flywheel assembly directly above the pivot shaft helps deliver exceptional smooth idle and overall smooth running.

Available in 2 Shaft Lengths:	Standard long and extra long shaft lengths allow for a wider range of boat applications.
Forward Mounted Shift Lever:	Forward mounted shifter control greatly improves the ease in shifting gears.
Engine Alert System:	The integrated warning system protects the engine from severe damage due to low oil, over-revving and over heat situations.
Tiller & Remote Control Models:	The BF50 comes standard with tiller handle and remote control variations.
Fresh Water Flush Port:	Allows easy fresh water flushing of the engine to clear debris and salt water, extending the life of the outboard.
High Output Charging:	Standard 10 amps provide enough power to keep all your electronics performing while trolling.
Emergency Stop Switch/Safety Lanyard:	This standard safety feature allows the operator to clip the lanyard to the wrist and stop the engine if the operator leaves the helm.
Built-in Pilot Tube:	Built in pilot tube in the gear case eliminates the need to drill holes in your boat for installation.
Standard Gauges:	Tachometer and trim gauges are included with power trim models.
Shallow Water Drive:	Greatly reduces the risk of engine damage while navigating in shallow waters.
Sacrificial Anodes:	One internal and two external sacrificial anodes protect metal components from corrosion.
Corrosion Protection:	Honda uses a unique multi-layer finish to ensure the highest possible level of corrosion resistance on all models.
