The Honda BF8 is ergonomically designed for easy transportation, making it ideal for small boats, dinghies or for freshwater trolling. A convenient, foldaway carry handle is situated at the precise balance point of the engine enabling easy transportation in a level position. Honda's exclusive triangulated, rubber-mounted pendulum-motion mounting system absorbs vibration and provides smooth operation.

Honda's integrated warning system protects the engine from severe damage due to low oil, over-revving and over heat situations.

Programmed ignition accurately controls ignition timing, enabling enhanced running performance across the entire rev range.

The 6amp alternator (manual start) and 12amp alternator (electric start) provides enough power to keep all your electronics performing while trolling.
